You will arrive to Hanoi after your flight where you will have an early Check-in. The tour starts with a sleeper bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang city. You will be picked up from your hotel/ hostel at 7:30pm pm and the bus will leave Hanoi at 8:30 pm. You will arrive in Ha Giang city at 3:30 am and check-in at the hostel for a few hours of rest.

At 8:30 AM, you will meet your guide, and your brilliant Ha Giang Loop adventure will begin. The road will lead you to Bac Sum Pass, up to Heaven’s Gate, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the twin mountains and Tam Son town. You will have lunch at Yen Minh Town. After a short break, you will drive towards Dong Van, passing through the picturesque Chin Khoanh Pass. The landscape is composed of endless rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks, and breathtaking views. This will also give you the chance to experience the life of hill-tribe villages, where local people work on the land. You will have the opportunity to visit the Hmong King’s Palace, the home of Vuong’s family in Sa Phin. Afterwards, you will arrive in Dong Van in the late afternoon and enjoy a local Vietnamese dinner with live music. Your day will end here for an overnight stay.

Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Du Gia Village (100km)

After breakfast, you will depart from Dong Van Town to reach the highlight of your journey, the Ma Pi Leng Pass. This pass is renowned for its steep cliffs and breathtaking views, often referred to as the “king” of passes in Vietnam. As you experience the spectacular pass, you will also trek the Sky Path to get a closer look at the entire valley and the Nho Que river. From the elevated viewpoint, you’ll have a picturesque 360° panorama of the Ma Pi Leng Pass. From here, you’ll descend to the Nho Que river and enjoy a boating experience.

Afterward, you will continue driving through the villages of Meo Vac, Mau Due, and Lung Ho, where you’ll take a break for lunch. In the afternoon, you will traverse the mountainous rural area of Ha Giang province on your way to Du Gia town. In the late afternoon, you will have the chance to relax at the refreshing Du Gia Waterfall. Later on, you will spend the night in a homestay situated amidst lush green rice fields.

Du Gia Village – Ha Giang – Ha Noi (80km)

On day 4, you will visit Lung Tam, a village occupied by Hmong ethnic minorities who are skilled in creating textile products. You will then cross Quan Ba town and marvel at the Nui Doi Mountains. After crossing the Sky Gate, you will pass by Bac Sum Pass and return to Ha Giang in the late afternoon. You will then take the 7:30 PM sleeper bus back to Hanoi’s Old Quarter, arriving at around 2:00 AM.

On your last day before your flight, you will enjoy a Hanoi City Half Day Private Tour. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to explore hidden corners of the city as well as visit the iconic train street. By the end of this tour, you can begin planning your journey back home.
