MAE HONG SON LOOP
The Mae Hong Son loop is often described as one of the most scenic routes in Thailand. It’s a rewarding trip for experienced motorbike riders, but the hairpin bends, steep climbs and slippery roads can be challenging for inexperienced riders. As an alternative to taking a motorbike, you can hire a car.

DAY 2 : FIRST DAY RIDE TO MAE SARIANG

Leave early morning to Mae Sariang via Doi Inthanon Summit.

Drive to the highest point in Thailand and enjoy the views.

Total Ride Time – 5 to 7 Hours.

DAY 3 : MAE SARIANG

Explore as per WTD Itinerary and at your own pace.

Chill in this lovely and quaint riverside town.

DAY 4 : SECOND DAY OF RIDING TO MAE HONG SON

One of the best riding routes in the world.

Easy route but be careful. 700 curves and turns in the mountains.

Reach Chaing Mai and Return your MotorBike.

Frequently Asked Questions

What about Tolls?

Customer will have to take care of the tolls themselves if in case a toll is to be automatically deducted, the motorbike rental company will deduct it from your security deposit. You can view this at the end of your trip with bike vendor, usually noted as "Toll/Traffic."

Do I Have Motorbike Insurance?

Your rental amount does not include coverage. Insurance can be purchased with the motorbike rental company upon taking delivery depending on vendor approvals.

When will I get my motorbike security deposit back?

The motorbike rental company will charge a security deposit at the start of rental. Some companies require you to submit your passport as a security or cash deposit. It is released after the motorbike is returned in the same condition as picked up. We recommend to take a detailed video of the vehicle at the time of pick up.

What if I'm unable to show up for an activity?

All activities booked for you are non refundable and require reservation of slots before hand.In case of non show, Where Travel Design will not be able to help with any refunds. Therefore it is always recommended to reach 15 mins before the start of any activity.

What to do on 'Leisure' days?

Where Travel Design will provide you an extensive list of recommendations which have been hand picked for you. These will have a highly researched list of the best restaurants, cafe's, hidden secrets, activities and much much more. This will be shared separately .

When and How to pay?

Full Payment will have to be made in advance. You are provided the convenience to pay through UPI or Bank Transfer. Credit Card payments also accepted with an additional 2% gateway charge.

What is a Support Vehicle?

WTDPL provides a support vehicle which follows the group for an emergency like a tyre puncture, accident but the first action is to call the local police along with informing the motorbike vendor about the same. WTDPL doesn't take any responsibility for the vehicle in case of damage as that needs to be taken care by the rider/traveller with the motorbike vendors.
